The Club Lotus Festival was held at Donington on 29th & 30th March, 2008. I attended on Sunday 30th, arriving at around 10am. The forcast was for showers, fortunately though it was sunny all day. Attendance was slow to start, but by mid day it got busy. There were plenty of Esprit's in the Lotus only car park. Outside the hall, there was a concours Lotus Esprit Essex, shown above and inside the Exhibition hall there were some interesting Lotus's, including a display of 4 1960s F1 cars, including a Type 25 and Jim Clarke's Lotus Type 49. There was a restored white Type 47 on the Sinclear's stand too. And there was a nice display of Esprits on the Lotus Esprit Forum stand, including 2 Essex Turbo's. Well done to Club Lotus for organising another great day.
